Strive for excellence with ASDA - IRI release named account data

2nd biggest UK supermarket, ASDA release named account data through IRI giving a more comprehensive view of the grocery market

BRACKNELL, May 21, 2008 — Information Resources, Inc. (IRI) is expanding its market coverage with the launch of ASDA named account data.

Access to information from every ASDA store, every week provides a better view of the market enabling manufacturers to make fact based decisions and proposals across whole categories. Access to powerful key performance indicators gives suppliers the chance to strengthen their relationships and work more closely with ASDA.

“Having ASDA data available in the market place will really add value and boost manufacturer opportunity through improved tracking and understanding of key performance indicators,” said Kirsty Harris-Clarke, UK Retail Director at IRI. “This data is key to manufacturers maximising their return on investment allowing them to get the most out of promotions, product launches and key seasonal campaigns whilst building business with ASDA.”

ASDA named account data is available in InfoScan, IRI’s retail tracking service based on EPoS data and used to monitor and evaluate product performance in the grocery, health and beauty and impulse markets.
