IRI are pleased to announce the launch of a new weekly sales tracking service for Alliance Pharmacy named account data. Alliance Pharmacy is currently the only UK community pharmacy retailer making its sales data generally available, giving you a comprehensive insight into the way in which a multiple pharmacy performs. /font>
This data is currently only available through IRI and the new service will deliver key performance indicators including value and unit sales, number of stores selling, average selling price, and value and unit rate of sale for your own, and competitor products, sold through the Alliance Pharmacy estate.
Information is processed for all stores meaning that if a product sells in any store during one week you will be able to identify and track it.
Data is delivered via the web within four working days of the Saturday close of trading, helping you to:
Negotiate listings more effectively with Alliance Pharmacy trading teams
Track distribution build of your own and competitor launches and new listings
Identify and address out-of-stocks and monitor fluctuations in distribution levels
Track price movements across your category to make sure you are competitive
Monitor product lines stocked by Alliance Pharmacy that fall outside IRI InfoScan® category definitions
Identify competitors promotions, the depth of discount being offered and the presence of promotional packs.
