Bracknell, U.K. – October 25, 2005 – Information Resources, Inc. A relatively new business in the United Kingdom grocery market, Dr. Oetker is one of the overall European market leaders for frozen pizzas. In fact, Dr. Oetker is the market leader in 11 out of the 26 countries in which it sells frozen pizzas and is No 1 in the U.K. with its thin and crispy Pizza Ristorante.

Under the two-year agreement, Dr. Oetker will leverage syndicated and custom IRI InfoScan® retail tracking services, which offer all-store, census-based, point-of-sale data from supermarkets. In addition, Dr. Oetker has commissioned a shopper insights project to gain qualitative and quantitative research for optimal category management.
