IRI launches new service to supply Boots shopper sales data
Bracknell, UK – September, 2005 – Information Resources, Inc. Allowing customers to redeem points against more than 55,000 products in over 1,400 Boots stores at any time, in any quantity, the Boots Advantage Card loyalty scheme is the only one in the UK that provides targeted, personal in-store offers. With over 14 million active users, the Boots Advantage Card database is the richest health and beauty data source in the UK.
The card links sales and demographic information on Boots customers to purchases in-store via data collected at the till. This information enables the anticipation of consumer shopper needs and habits in the future and subsequently more accurate marketing decisions can be made.
Boots has appointed IRI to offer this new service to Boots suppliers, providing shopper sales data on 1.4 million Advantage Card users (10% of all active users).
This new service is an easy to use, web based solution that offers instant access to reports allowing analysis of customers’ behaviour.
